Sunday Novice League
Convenor: Francois Maltais
The Sunday afternoon open league is open to curlers of 3 years or less experience and of all ages and skill levels. Even if you have little or no experience, everyone is welcome. Members interested in joining this league register as single players. Teams are formed at the beginning of the 2nd and 3rd draws (once the learn-to-curl program has concluded) and made up based on skill, experience, and the number of registrants. Teams are often made up every week. If you’re looking for a league to join that is more focused on having fun than the score, the Sunday open league might be for you! Experienced curlers invited to join and help other players develop their skills. We focus on practicing skills and calls more than points. Everyone can get a chance to try out each position if they choose to.
