2011-2012 Fall Senior Men’s Bonspiel

Fourteen teams from around the valley came to CPCC on Sat Nov 12 to curl in the club’s Fall Senior Men’s Bonspiel.  The organizers for this event were Richard Kee, George Newton, Wally Filipowich and Bill Bowman. Next year we are hoping to fill the event with sixteen teams. Gentlemen, thanks for running another smooth fall spiel.

There were two draws, the winner of draw 1 and the overall point winner being Bob Maidment’s team from Smiths Falls.  The winner of the second draw was Mike Schultz’s team from Manotick.  A fine roast beef dinner, served by caterer Kevin Ralph, was enjoyed and devoured by all. Prizes were presented to the winners and and everyone went home happy!
